Antioxidant Green Smoothie


This delicious Antioxidant Green Smoothie is a great way to start the day and especially after a day of overindulging (i.e. Saint Patrick’s Day). It is loaded with vitamins and antioxidants from the kale, mango and pineapple. Rich in natural protein from the milk, Greek yoghurt and Chia seeds.  Chia seeds also add heart healthy Omega-3 fatty acids and fiber.  


Antioxidant Green Smoothie

Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 1 smoothie


Ingredients


  • 1        cup                       Kale

  • ½        medium               Banana

  • ½        cup                      Frozen Pineapple pieces

  • ½        cup                      Mango pieces

  • ½        cup                      Greek Yoghurt

  • ½        cup                      Low Fat Milk, Unsweetened Nut Milk, or Soy Milk 

  • 1        Tbsp.                    Honey (Optional)

  • 1        Tbsp.                   Chia Seeds


Instructions


  1. Add all ingredients to a blender or container for an immersion blender and blend until smooth.
